DESMOND'S COMIC, a strip about the life and times of a video game character written and illustrated by the crazy talented Joe Foo. What can I say about Joe Foo? I'd never pass up an opportunity to attend a convention with Joe Foo. I met him a few years ago at a SPACE show and we've been good friends ever since. He's really helped me build up a confidence with talking to people at conventions. The man has a die-hard work ethic and it's something I try and emulate every day. Joe works ALOT. He
is the definition of "good times."
His web comic is also the definition of "good times." It's a great blend of videogame nuances and the magic of Saturday morning cartoons. He put out a big book of collected Desmond strips and it's a fantastic read because it comes with creator commentary and he really lets you go behind the scenes of each strip and how he goes from script to final product. It's wonderful!
